school supplies and extras

Not all schools handle supplies the same way. Some schools will send out a list for each grade level in the back to school packet or have the list online or in the front office. Office supply stores and other stores may have a list by the section of school supplies but before you shop off that list , I suggest you check with your school and see if your school has a list for specific list of required supplies for each grade. A list can save you from buying unnecessary items or neglecting to get something important . The prices go up after school starts so you really want to make sure you get items at a discount price. While there are deals , you may want to get supplies to create a container of supplies for your home , for homework or projects.
Remember is many parts the weather is hot so make sure you don’t leave crayons in your child’s backpack. Some school classrooms hang backpacks outside and may get direct sunlight at some point in the day. Caution ; melted crayons can ruin a new backpack. There is likely no need to have crayons in the backpack for your child . If you sent crayons for the teacher, make sure they are obvious so they get unpacked.
